After five+ years of abuse and punishment my little Ryobi impact driver finally bit the dust.
The cheap little homeowner model had been dropped, used as a hammer, rained on and still came back for more. The assembly job that brought it undone was driving in a couple of hundred 150mm bugle screws through sleepers. Something it was definitely not made for.
Based on the performance of the cheap base model tool, and the fact that I already had batteries for it I went down to my local Bunnings and picked up the new brushless model with the half inch socket drive and the clip on bit adapter. Stoked!
Here’s to another five years of flat pack assembly!
